I like this image very much. Something very harmonious about the blue and orange together.

Hi Annie--

Wow! What a great story. I'm glad that you stumbled upon the post.
Unfortunately, I thought it would be fun to send the postcard to the current owners of the house, which I did last summer. If only I had known you were out there! I hope they appreciated reading the postcard as much you did on the blog. I purchased the postcard at an Antique store in Eastern Market, which is always open on Saturday. They have a large number of antique postcards from all over Michigan and the Greater Detroit area.
Thanks so much for checking out the blog, sorry the postcard is out of my hands!

WOW!!!

Was I thrilled to see and read the post-card you published re: 375 Lake Park Drive. My parents, John and Mary Ann O'Neill, moving from Detroit, purchased this home in 1969 and resided there for thirty years. Sadly they have both passed on, but the memories of the years spent both growing up in and later "coming home" to this house, our home, will forever be for me the greatest and most treasured memories of my life.

Thank you SO much for this thrilling post, and should you ever want to part with this card, I myself have quite a large collection of vintage post-cards and would LOVE to either make a trade or simply purchase it outright.

Super Sincerely and Truly Grateful,

Annie O'Neill
Birmingham, MI
(I do not know if my email is accessible to you via this post - but I will check again to see if you have read this and if you're interested in my offer we can figure out a way to connect :)
